Kacy Tillman, PhD

I'm an Assistant Professor of English and Writing at the University of Tampa, where I started working in 2009.  I primarily teach Early American Literature, and my research specialties include women's studies, gender studies, and early American life writing.  I write about women's letter-writing practices during the American Revolution, though recently I have become interested in journals, commonplace books, and letter-journals. My manuscript is titled Stripped: Loyalist Women Writers of the American Revolution.
